Odetta, the "Queen of American Folk Music" visited Riga from February 22-24.
 
She performed a concert at the Small Gild, where she was joined by the GG Choirwas. She also hosted at a reception at the residence of Ambassador Bailey.
 
One of the personal highlights of Odetta's visit was a reunion between Odetta and Pete Anderson. Pete first met with Odetta in Moscow when the singer was on a tour of the Soviet Union.
